Covid-19 & Massage
I want you to know, I feel that massage is very important at this time. Not only to keep our physical bodies pain free and healthy but for our own mental state of being as well.
In order to ensure our safety, new policies will be in effect when you come for your scheduled appointment. You will be asked to wash your hands before our session starts. I will be checking your temperature with a touchless infrared thermometer. If your temperature is above 100.3, you will be asked to return home and reschedule when your temperature has been below 100.3 for 24 hours. In addition, you will be asked to complete a Covid-19 release form at the beginning of every appointment. While we are in session, I will be wearing a mask at all times. I ask that you do the same. However, while you are face down, it will be acceptable to remove your mask.
If you have been experiencing Covid-19 related symptoms, cancel your appointment right away. You will not be charged for a missed appointment due to experiencing symptoms or feeling under the weather. However, if you fail to call, text or email, the charge for a missed appointment is $35.
I will be taking Covid-19 procedures very seriously. This means I will be using disinfectants that are Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-registered and labeled as bactericidal, viricidal and fungicidal and completing a thorough disinfecting procedure between each client. To ensure disinfectants are effective I will be limiting the number of clients per day to ensure I have proper time to disinfect and allow the studio air to be fully purified. In addition, I will be changing my own clothing in-between appointments to ensure there will be no cross contamination.
I will do everything I can to ensure that we all stay very healthy.
